Koprulu Kanyon National Park
The swift flowing Koprucay (Bridge Creek) takes its name from a Roman stone bridge still in use across the aptly named Koprulu Kanyon (Bridge Canyon), Beskonak.
The river is a favourite place of white water rafters because of its relatively easy rapids (Class 1 & 2) along a scenic course downstream from the dramatic gorge.
Bridge Canyon National Park (Koprulu Kanyon Milli Park) makes a good day trip from Antalya, Belek or Side, whether you go rafting, or hiking, or to explore the ruins of the Roman theater, city walls, and Temple of Zeus in the mountain town of Selge (Altinkaya), or just you can enjoy a picnic in a dramatic Mediterranean scenery.
Tour companies in Antalya, Belek and Side can arrange your excursion with transport, equipment, guides and meals, or you can just drive up in early morning and choose from seveal rafting companies to go with.
